Marlo Smith is a board-certified hospice and palliative care music therapist (HPMT) who uses the restorative energy of music and personal storytelling to guide clients through difficult times.
She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Temple University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of New Hampshire. Marlo also completed supplementary training in Levels I and II of Guided Imagery and Music.
Since 2009, Marlo has specialized in end-of-life care, where she has the privilege of helping others find strength and comfort through creativity. She believes the holistic benefits of music can inspire clients to gain a deeper knowledge of themselves, allowing them to confront and overcome challenges. Marlo tailors her creative therapies to each individual, encouraging them to use self-expression to explore their unique bonds with music.
